Jessica earned a dual Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology and Economics
in 2007 from Stony Brook University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work in
2012 from the SBU – School of Social Welfare.
Jessica brings with her a wealth of experience. She is a bilingual (native Spanish-speaking) Licensed Master Social Worker from New York City with 10+ years of experience working with culturally diverse and at risk populations in behavioral health inpatient and outpatient settings, community based organizations, public schools, and court systems. Jessica’s experience has included providing comprehensive risk assessment, psychiatric consultation and clinical diagnosis for acute psychiatric patients in hospitals as well as providing individual and family therapy in schools and outpatient clinics.
Jessica appreciates that each client has a unique set of strengths and circumstances. In order to best meet clients’ needs, she utilizes a variety of client-centered therapeutic treatment modalities. She has experience using the following:

Jessica is a native of New York City’s urban core and is a recent transfer to Kansas City. She is passionate about empowering clients to become their best selves. She strives to positively impact the community, working in conjunction with community agencies to serve individuals and families while equipping them with the skills and resources necessary to improve their overall quality of life.
