Michele received her Master’s in Social Work from The University of Kansas. She has diverse experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Michele is sensitive to the impact of traumatic life experiences and the way these experiences can shape our world. She works to meet people where they are with empathy and respect for person-in-environment. Michele utilizes attachment-based framework, support with emotional regulation through expressive forms of therapy and Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused–Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Intervention.

Additionally, Michele is an experienced trainer and facilitator. She has provided training and facilitation for juvenile justice staff, educators, corporate, not-for-profit and student groups.
