Mary received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from UMKC, and her 
Master of Arts Degree in Counseling at Webster University.

Mary has experience with and enjoys counseling children and adults, as well as couples and families.  Her frame of reference is a client-centered approach and she specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy. For children, Mary combines play therapy techniques with trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy to help children express their emotions and begin to heal in a safe environment.

Mary has additional experience leading parenting education groups, as well as emotional processing groups for children.  She has also helped clients with ADHD, as well as emotional health challenges such as depression, grief, anxiety, stress, and other trauma related issues.

Mary has office hours and availability in our Liberty and Raytown offices.
